Coming to AMAC

Please help us to help you have as stress free time as possible

 IF A FEMALE DOCTOR IS SPECIFICALLY REQUIRED THIS MUST BE STIPULATED AT THE TIME OF BOOKING YOUR APPOINTMENT

Before your appointment arrange:

  • Attendance of blood tests, swab tests and scan

  • After school pick up & childcare for the whole day of procedure(s). Babies and children will not be admitted to our quiet clinical environment.

  • A support person to stay throughout the day(s). This is an absolute requirement if completing a medical abortion procedure at home.

  • Transportation home.  You cannot drive a vehicle for 12 hours.

  • A translator if English language is poor (anyone connected to the pregnancy cannot act as a language interpreter).

The day of the procedure

  • Eat a light breakfast

  • Arrive on time (late arrivals may have procedure rescheduled to a later date

Bring:

  • Passport

  • Any documents from your doctor

  • Service fees - all service fees are payable in full, by cash, visa or EFTPOS. Please do not request credit or time payments as refusal often offends
